History of Shawn’s Swim School

Our swim school opened in April 1994 with a 17m x 6m pool. In 2007 we added a 25m x 8m pool. We cater for all levels from babies from 4 months old to squad swimmers and adults. All of our teachers and coaches are qualified instructors.

Our staff attends conferences each year both in Australia and overseas to make sure we are up to date with all the best modern methods. Some of our staff have been asked to speak at these conferences to show attendees our successful methods. We have small class sizes, and 11 certificate levels to provide consistent feedback.
 
You are not required to pay up front for a whole term, and we offer make up lessons in certain programs. We are a multi award winning swim school in Hoppers Crossing, winning awards from both within our industry and from local government. We look forward to teaching your children how to swim!

• In September of 2003 we were awarded the VAIC Swim School of the year!
• In 2004 we were awarded the Wyndham small business of the year award.
• 1 of our babies teachers, Janet McClure won the pre-school aquatics teacher of the year award in 2005
• In 2024 we were awarded ASSA's National Swim School of the Year!
